98% of parents will give birth in a hospital

Maybe it's just the business school grad in me, but as a doula, I see a HUGE market that doulas just are not focusing on, and that is hospital birth support! Not only do many people need to give birth in a hospital, but many want to in order to utilize common interventions like medical pain relief and inductions.

What if as doulas we could push past our bias or harm we have seen at the hand of medical care providers, and instead focus on gathering the skills and resources to meet our community members where they are at, and serve them effectively?

Heidi Mills has spent the last 3.5 years building a doula business around supporting hospital birth.

In these years, she has supported 80+ hospital births, doubled her prices, and been able to hire and train three like-minded doulas onto her team.

Heidi believes hospitals are one of the trickiest birth places to navigate for doulas. She has experienced pressure, hostility, and a myriad of options and interventions she has had to help her clients navigate. This course is filled with all the lessons she's had to learn the hard way, so you can confidently support your client's hospital birth.
